who we are
Smart Youth Effort for Advanced Community (Smart Youth) is a youth-led organization dedicated to empowering young people in Tanzania through skills development, socio-economic engagement, and digital inclusion. Founded in 2016 as SaveElders Tanzania, the initiative began as a digital advocacy campaign to raise awareness about elder rights. It quickly grew into a movement, attracting young volunteers eager to create change. Our Vision To ensure equity, justice, and empowered communities where youth actively participate in national and global development. Our Mission To reduce unemployment, enhance skills, and foster active youth participation in socio-economic and political processes through training, mentorship, and community-driven
